Step 3 – In-person interview

After speaking with you over the phone, we’ll invite you to see the office, meet the team, and talk about how you can contribute to district m.

Step 5 – Job offer

If we both determine that we’re a fit for each other during the recruitment process, you’ll receive an official offer from us.

3 weeks of vacation
Vacation time is very important to recharge. At district m, all employees get 3 weeks of vacation per year!

Once you’ve accepted our job offer, join us at our weekly [email protected] before your first day to get to know some of your new colleagues and buddy in a casual setting.

Social life It’s important to have fun at work! district m has a social committee that organizes many fun events, such as the [email protected] Stronger Together, the annual kickoff, the holiday party, the sugar shack, game nights, sports teams, pizza lunches, and more! Weekly

On your first day, your buddy will do a tour of the office with you to introduce you to all districters and show you your new environment.

Random coffees Every month, you’ll be invited to grab a coffee with a colleague picked randomly to foster collaboration and get to know other districters. Monthly
OKRs OKRs are objectives and key results. There are company, department and individual OKRs. They are reviewed quarterly and tracked in real time, so that we make sure we achieve them at all levels. Yearly and quarterly

Learning and development

First month

Step 16 – Foundation program

The Foundation program will allow you to quickly understand our industry, company, and culture. Topics covered are history of ad tech and programmatic advertising; origins, teams and products of district m; as well as the legal aspects of the business.

CEO town halls
Every quarter, a town hall takes place to present district m’s OKRs, targets and vision.

Cool techs
Districters get to work will tech tools such as Google Cloud Platform, Golang, Spark, AWS, Slack, and Zoom. You can also choose if you want to work with a MacBook or PC.

Step 17 – district mBA

Once you complete the Foundation program, you can start your district mBA: a program to help new districters further their industry education and gain a better understanding of all the aspects of programmatic advertising, from the demand side, to the supply side, to tech and marketing.

You’ll have regular 1:1s with your manager to discuss priorities, roadblocks, feedback, performance, and wellness.

Every 6 months, you’ll have a performance review with your manager, including a 360° evaluation and an action plan to increase impact and performance.

Step 18 – Encouragement and funding for continuing education and training

We want districters to be the best at what they do. This is why we provide funding for continuing education and training relevant to your job.

Step 19 – Group health insurance

We offer group health insurance to all permanent full-time districters. You’ll receive an email from Canada Life to register online shortly after your first day and you’ll be covered after 3 months.

Districters like to stay fit! You can join one of our sports teams, organized by our social committee.

You’ll have access to free yoga and HIIT classes, right at the office. Namaste!

For your 5th year at district m, you’ll get an extra month of vacation. You gave us 5 years of hard work, it’s our turn to give you some time to make your dream trip or project come true. You’ll also be gifted a Solios watch.
